“I am not your typical coach. And Mythos is not your typical coaching practice.”
Hey, I’m Danielle 👋
I’m a psychotherapist, a strategist, and, if you need it, the most direct, caring voice in your corner. I have spent the better part of a decade helping women cut through the noise, find their focus, and build lives that actually feel like theirs.
But let me back up.
My back storyI started out as a journalist.
I didn’t want to report on the news, I wanted it to be socially okay to delve into people’s stories. What drives them. What holds them back. What they are really saying underneath what they are actually saying.
That curiosity led me everywhere. Through a string of 9-5 roles I quietly hated. Through the slow realisation that I was on the escalator our culture puts us all on, and that I desperately wanted to get off.
On the cusp of turning 30, I did.
I went back to study full-time, not knowing exactly where it would lead, just knowing that something needed to change. A chance conversation with a friend of a colleague - a woman finishing her Masters in Applied Psychotherapy who took one look at me and said "this will fit you perfectly" - pointed me in the right direction.
She was right.
I completed my Master of Applied Psychotherapy and Counselling at Jansen Newman Institute in 2019. From there I began volunteering at The Indigo Project - one of Sydney's most respected psychology practices - where I developed my style, sharpened my instincts, and discovered something important: I have a real gift for cutting through the noise and helping people land on a clear, strategic vision for their life.
I also started facilitating workshops and programs for high-profile corporate organisations - bringing mental wellbeing and clarity into workplaces that needed both.
Then COVID. Then a move to the Central Coast. Then.. the chapter that changed everything, I became a mother.
Here’s the thing about becoming a mother that nobody warns you about.
It’s not just the love, the joy, the beautiful chaos everyone talks about. It is the moment you feel - viscerally, undeniably - exactly how little the system is designed to support women to thrive.
The juggle is real. The invisible load is real. The slow erosion of your own identity underneath the weight of everyone else's needs - that’s real too.
I didn't just read about this. I lived it. And it lit something in me that has not gone out.
I want to be a disruptive force within a system that keeps capable women small, exhausted, and circling. I want to help women find their focus, reclaim their time, and build towards genuine freedom, not the Instagram version, the real one.
At the end of 2025, our little family made another leap - from the Central Coast to Melbourne, Victoria. A new city. A new chapter. And the clearest, most focused version of this work I have ever done.
“I am here to be your cheerleader, your BS detector, and your strategist, all at once.”
I have been doing this work since 2017. I have worked with men, women, children, and couples across that time. But I am in a chapter now of working very specifically with women - women whose stories I understand, whose juggle I respect, and whose potential I refuse to let go quietly unnoticed.
I am here to be your cheerleader, your BS detector, and your strategist, all at once. To help you cut through everything that has been keeping you stuck and build something that is genuinely, unmistakably yours.
That is what Mythos is for. And if any of this resonates, even a little, I would love to have a conversation.
